EXHIBITION: 17 SEP – 29 OCT 2022 THE WILLIAMSON ART GALLERY
A Transfigured Movement in Time is a collaboration between Material Matters Collective artists Patric Rogers and Angelo Madonna and uses performance art to explore the links between landscape and ritual.

Space is the Place: Act 2 features artwork recording the experiences of twelve people including artist John Elcock to Hilbre Island on the Dee Estuary in June 2022.
Through a series of ritualised performances, the artists created a body of works connecting their individual pilgrimages with the extraordinary collective experience.
The resultant film by Paddy and Angelo A Transfigured Movement in Time will be screened at 30 min intervals daily. The exhibition also features three giant artworks on canvas created by the participants on the island, together with two smaller installations by Madonna created for an MFA at LJMU in 2019.
The exhibition at the Williamson is in Gallery 3 and also features a specially constructed cinema extending into Gallery 2. It runs from 17th September – 29th October. Free entry.
Open 10.30am-5pm Wednesday & Thursday, 10:30am – 9pm Fridays, and 10am – 4:30pm Saturdays. Closed Sundays and Bank Holidays.
